Joe Arpasi is a pioneer in the college fantasy football landscape. He first began his work in 2008 as a writer for the website college football geek. he later became the co-owner of the site which was one of the first mainstream cff websites. From 2008-2016 Joe managed the growth of the website which included introducing cff analysts mike bainbridge & john laub to the cff world. Joe was featured in athlon sports’ college football preview magazine, on sirius xm radio, and on bleacher report.

After the site shut down in 2016 Joe would remain out of the CFF spotlight for eight years before returning in 2024 when he created the website let purple reign. Joe continued his cff analyst work as the owner and operator of the site and in late 2024 started his podcast on Youtube which is now also featured on spotify. In late 2025 Let Purple Reign was rebranded as college fantasy reign. Since returning in 2024 he has been featured on several podcasts including Chasing The Natty and CFF Lists.
