College Fantasy Football championships are won and lost on the waiver wire. Joe Arpasi has identified the players you need to target on this week’s waiver wire that will help give your fantasy team a champion’s edge.

Premium subscribers will have access to hand chosen waiver wire targets from Joe Arpasi’s top selections. The free preview below reviews players that are honorable mention waiver wire targets that did not make Joe’s top selections lists that are featured for premium subscribers.

I highly recommend reviewing the waiver wire targets I have listed below and compare them to the current players on your roster with my CFF Schedule Matcher tool. You can filter the tool down to just the schools you need to look at and see how these waiver wire targets mesh with the schedules of your current roster players.

Honorable Mentions

Quarterbacks

  • Deuce Bailey (CoCar) 29% Rostered

    • Current Week Match-up Target
    • Volume Workload Target
    • Playoff Match-Up Target
    • Bailey continues to make my waiver wire target lists due to his consistent play. He’s scored 22+ fantasy points in all but one game this season. Last week he accounted for 286 total yards and 2 TD’s. He is a perfect fit for a spot starter when one of your top QB’s is on a bye or has a bad match-up.

  • Ashton Daniels (FlaSt) 30% Rostered

    • Current Week Match-up Target
    • Volume Workload Target
    • Last week against Virginia Daniels had his best day this year, exploding for 50.7 fantasy points from 219 total yards, 5 rushing TD’s and 1 INT. While this was his second game with 30+ fantasy points, I see his fantasy value as limited to the 20 fantasy point range. He should have a good day at Louisville this week but I’m not sure how many other match-ups are good enough for him to be in your line up.

  • Camden Coleman (JMU) 7% Rostered

    • Current Week Match-up Target
    • Coleman now has three games under his belt as the starter and he scored 27+ fantasy points in each contest. His rushing production is mild despite getting 8.3 carries/game. He has match-up spread around the remaining schedule for spot start opportunities, and this week’s match-up with Georgia Southern looks like the best one.

  • Amari Odom (Syr) 2% Rostered

    • I’m viewing Odom as a name to monitor at this point. He played due to injury of the starter, and despite scoring 40.5 fantasy points against UConn, I’m not sure what we could expect from him against ACC schools. If he plays halfway decent against Virginia this week he could be a playable option the following two weeks.

Running Backs

  • Messiah Burch (Buff) 1% Rostered

    • Volume Workload Target
    • Buffalo has been searching for a RB to breakout this season and over the last two weeks the coaches have fed Burch the ball 23+ times and ran for 100+ yards in each game and he’s scored 16 & 16.6 fantasy points in those games. This Buffalo rushing game won’t match up well right now with my fantasy match-up grades so its hard to tell how many games he could be a potential flex player for your line up.

  • Trae’shawn Brown (Bama) 12% Rostered

    • Playoff Match-Up Target
    • Brown is a name to monitor moving forward. He’s forced his way into the RB rotation which now features three RB’s. Last week against Mississippi State he carried the ball 14 times for 66 yards and 2 TD’s. If he starts dominating the carry distribution he could become waiver wire worthy.

Wide Receivers

  • Xayvion Turner-Bradshaw (Marsh) 24% Rostered

    • Current Week Match-up Target
    • XTB has been on a rollercoaster ride the last four weeks. He’s either scored around 10 fantasy points or 28. The trend I’m noticiing is that his poor performances are on the road and his good games are at home. If that trend continues then he should be a good play against Coastal Carolina and South Alabama the next two weeks.

  • Eli Wood (UtSt) 12% Rostered

    • Current Week Match-up Target
    • Volume Workload Target
    • I like what I’ve seen from Wood these last two weeks, scoring 19.1 & 21.7 fantasy points with a combined 19 targets for 14 receptions, 198 yards and 2 TD’s. The fact he has two bye’s coming up with one in the playoffs hurts how I view him overall. He does have good fantasy match-ups remaining and if he fits weak spots in your roster for schedule matching he could be a great pick-up.

  • Reginald Vick (ColST) 26% Rostered

    • My view on Vick has slipped a bit whic is why he’s now dropped to the honorable mention list. He has two bye weeks remaining with on in the playoffs, and good remaining match-ups. Like I mentioned about Wood, Vick could still be a very good schedule matching pick up. I feel that until starting QB Hauss Hejny comes back from injury that Vick’s fantasy production will be held in check.

  • Que’Sean Brown (VaTec) 27% Rostered

    • Volume Workload Target
    • When I evaluate Brown I see a mixed bag. Last week against Pitt is the only times Brown has scored more than 9 fantasy points and had 100+ receiving yards against an FBS school. But over the last two games he has a total of 21 targets for 15 receptions. He’s getting volume but it’s still hard to tell which games he should do well in.

  • Isaiah Myers (MoSt) 14% Rostered

    • Current Week Match-up Target
    • Volume Workload Target
    • It’s still hard to read just how productive Myers can be in conference play. He’s only faced on Group of 6 school where he scored 18.2 fantasy points against Marshall. His upcoming match-ups are filled with good and bad match-ups. He continues to look like the center piece of this passing game which give him promise moving forward.

Tight Ends

  • Darrin Fugitt (App) 19% Rostered

    • Current Week Match-up Target
    • Playoff Match-Up Target
    • Fugitt had a bye last week but he’s still one of my favorite consistent fantasy TE’s. He’s only had one poor performance which was in a tight win against Charlotte. That’s the type of game he should have been involved in more though. His schedule is good and I love his playoff match-ups.

  • Kevin Roche (GATec) 18% Rostered

    • Current Week Match-up Target
    • Roche was also on a Bye last week but I’m keeping him alive on the honorable mention list. He’s averaging 7.6+ targets/game against FBS schools. The next two weeks bring good match-ups where he can crack your starting line up, but I just don’t know if he can break the 10 fantasy point barrier.
