After reviewing teams from across the country we have identified players that look will take a leap in their fantasy value for the 2026 College Fantasy Football Season. These players are divided into two groups:
RISERS
These are players that have some form of past statistic production. These players have a high fantasy floor, presenting less risk when drafting them.
FLYERS
These are players that have limited to no past statistical production. These players have a low fantasy floor, presenting more risk when drafting these them.

Honorable Mention Risers
Arkansas: Jaden Platt
52.1 Fantasy Points In 2025
Platt spent the first two years of his career at Texas A&M, and in that time only appeared in six games with a total of 2 targets for two receptions, 52 yards and 1 TD. He transferred to Arkansas in 2025 which was a smart move. Last season he played 12 games, received 35 targets for 21 receptions, 296 yards and 2 TD’s as the TE2. Now Rohan Jones is gone and Platt has moved into the starting line-up. Arkansas replaced their coaching staff this offseason and in comes Tim Cramsey as offensive coordinator. Going back to 2018 Cramsey’s TE1 has scored 75+ fantasy points four times. 2022 was the best season with Caden Preiskorn scoring 126.2 fantasy points at Memphis.
Wisconsin: Jacob Harris
57.7 Fantasy Points In 2025
Harris has spent the last three seasons at Bowling Green. He didn’t play his freshman year but his playing time increased each season. Last season was his best, playing in twelve games with 29 targets for 19 receptions, 182 yards and 5 TD’s. He bolted in the transfer portal and landed at Wisconsin. He had a good spring and is seen as the leader for the starting TE job. Offensive coordinator Jeff Grimes has a good track record in producing fantasy worthy TE’s. Since 2018 Grimes’ TE1 has scored 75+ fantasy points five times, and scored 100+ fantasy points twice. Harris could see around 50 targets this season and his yards/reception from 2025 is one yard better that the career average of Grimes’ TE’s.
Honorable Mention Flyers
Alabama: Kaleb Edwards
26.5 Fantasy Points In 2025
As a freshman last season Edwards saw action in 15 games as a back up. The starting position has opened up and Edwards is the most productive returning TE on the team. With an entire offseason to develop in the weight room and learn the offense better he will now see his role grow as an every week starter for 2026. In the five seasons we’ve been tracking offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb his TE1 has produced 70+ fantasy points three times. Last season was the best performance for a Grubb TE when Josh Cuevas scored 87.6 fantasy points, and that performance had more targets for a Grubb TE than any other year.

Appalachian State: Darrin Fugitt
61.9 Fantasy Points In 2025 (At FCS Level)
Fuguitt started his college career at FCS Lindenwood, and during his first three seasons had a combined 30 receptions for 356 yards and 3 TD’s. He burst into the starting line up last season and earned honorable mention All-OVC-Big South honors with 32 receptions for 341 yards and 2 TD’s. Making the move to App State this season provided Fuguitt with a great opportunity as there was no TE’s returning any real experience. The coaches noticed his presence with the team immediately and by the end of spring camp had separated himself from the rest of the TE room. Head coach Dowell Loggains’ TE1 have always scored 60+ fantasy points/season, and with an unexperienced WR core Fuguitt could get a workload of 50+ targets.
Massachusetts: Max Dowling
47.9 Fantasy Points In 2025
Dowling started his college career Kansas but after redshirted he transferred down to Tennessee-Martin. In his two seasons there he only played in 3 games but managed to transfer to UMass last year. It was surprising to see Dowling lead all TE’s in receptions in 2025 but he never made himself fantasy relevant. Max Warner was hired as the new offensive coordinator. He was an offensive analyst at Toledo last season, and before that he spent three seasons as co-offensive coordinator at Bowling Green. The career average numbers for his TE’s is inflated with the Harold Fannin’s 2024 performance of 286.4 fantasy points. If you go back to 2022 before Fannin played, Warner’s TE1 scored 81 fantasy points on 69 targets. If Dowling’s workload increases like this his fantasy outlook goes up dramatically.

North Texas: Max Reese
1.1 Fantasy Points In 2025
After spending his first two seasons at Eastern Michigan as a back up Reese earned the starting TE job in 2024, scoring 54 fantasy points from 40 targets for 27 receptions, 232 yards and 2 TD’s. The following year he transferred to Mississippi State where he primarily played special teams and only had 2 receptions for 1 yard. He moved back down to the Group of 6 for 2026 and joined the North Texas squad. He had an outstanding spring camp and looks poised to not only be the starter, but contribute in the passing game. Offensive coordinator Mike Bloesch likes using the TE, with his TE1 averaging 88.5 fantasy points from a 58 target workload.
Notre Dame: Cooper Flanagan
0.0 Fantasy Points In 2025
The first two seasons of Flanagan’s career at Notre Dame saw 26 game appearances but he only had five receptions in that time. In January of 2025 he suffered an Achilles injury that ultimately cost him his 2025 season. He was cleared of the injury and participated in spring camp as the favorite to will the starting job. While Eli Raridon scored 64.2 fantasy points last season, offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock has has five seasons with his TE1 scoring 75+ fantasy points going back to 2018. With starting QB CJ Carr coming back and only one WR returns with double digit receptions, there are plenty of targets that Flanagan could secure this year.
Western Kentucky: CC Ezirim
7.8 Fantasy Points In 2025
Ezirim has spent the last three seasons at Toledo in a back up role. He played in 21 games and produced 7 receptions for 117 yards and 1 TD. He transferred to Western Kentucky this season and the coaches liked his 6’7″ 241 pound athletic frame. Noah Meyers was last year’s starter and he was the team’s fourth best pass catcher with 32 receptions for 357 yards and 3 TD’s. That was the third best performance by a TE for head coach Tyson Helton. In 2019 and 2022 Joshua Simon scored 82 & 79.3 fantasy points. News reports from spring camp saw Ezirim emerge as the leader for the starting TE job.
