After reviewing teams from across the country we have identified players that look will take a leap in their fantasy value for the 2026 College Fantasy Football Season. These players are divided into two groups:

RISERS

These are players that have some form of past statistic production. These players have a high fantasy floor, presenting less risk when drafting them.

FLYERS

These are players that have limited to no past statistical production. These players have a low fantasy floor, presenting more risk when drafting these them.

Honorable Mention Risers

NMS WR King

New Mexico State: Tyler King

97.1 Fantasy Points In 2025

King has bounced around quite a bit in his college career, first starting a Tech Tech for two season where he only saw action in two games. He moved to Wyoming in 2024 and played in 10 games while scoring 52 fantasy points. Last season he played for New Mexico State and had his best season yet scoring 97.1 fantasy points as the team’s WR2. Last year’s top WR Donovan Faupel left the team in the offseason opening the door for King to step into the top WR role. King had 37 fewer targets than Faupel did, but averaged nearly 4 more yards/reception than Faupel. Offensive Coordinator David Yost saw his 2023 & 2024 WR’s score 185.8 & 219.9 fantasy points while at Florida International. All King needs to do is increase his TD scoring to hold some real fantasy value in 2026 with a 100 target workload.

SCar WR Harbor

South Carolina: Nyck Harbor

112.0 Fantasy Points In 2025

To say that Harbor is fast would be an understatement. He ran the 100-meter dash in 10.11 seconds and at 6’5″ 242 pounds present a real match-up problem for secondaries. 2026 will be his fourth season at South Carolina and every year his production has improved, jumping from 69 fantasy points in 2024 to 112 fantasy points last season as the team’s WR1. South Carolina went out and hired former TCU offensive coordinator Kendal Briles to lead the offense in 2026. Going back to 2018 Briles’ WR1 has scored 200+ fantasy points five times and the WR1 was targeted 100+ times in three seasons. Harbor has the athletic ability and large frame that Broles loves to see in his top WR.

Wash WR Roebuck

Washington: Dezmen Roebuck

118.0 Fantasy Points In 2025

Roebuck burst onto the scene last year as a true freshman and finished the seaosn as the team’s second leading WR. Top star Denzel Boston left for the NFL, opening the WR1 for Roebuck to capture. At 5’11” he is not your typical outside WR build but he was kept on the outside during spring camp. Head coach Jedd Fisch has flip flopped what type of role he favors in his offense, which usually mirrors who his top talent is. Going back to 2022 Fisch’s top WR has scored 180+ fantasy points every season 100+ targets in all but one (last season Boston had 99 targets). Things look good for Roebuck if he remains healthy with returning QB Demond Williams throwing him the ball.

WaSt WR Freeman

Washington State: Tony Freeman

101.7 Fantasy Points In 2025

Kirby Moore spent the last three seasons as the offensive coordinator at Missouri before taking the head coaching job at Washington State. If you go back to his first year as an OC at Fresno State in 2022, his WR1 has scored 180+ fantasy points twice. Luther Burden was a special talent at Missouri who had up and down fantasy production. There is no similarly talented player on the Wazzu roster but Freeman is the top returning WR from 2025. Freeman plays in the slot which has been the WR1 for the past three season for Moore. Its difficult to project how high of a fantasy ceiling Freeman will have in year one with Moore but he is worth taking a late round shot on.

Honorable Mention Flyers

UConn WR WIlson

Connecticut: Ky “Flash” Wilson

127.5 Fantasy Points In 2025 (at FCS level)

Wilson has slowly seen his stock increase at the college level. His first two seasons were spent at D2 Slippery Rock where he registered 1,524 all-purpose yards in 2024. He then transferred up to FCS Youngstown State in 2025 where he amassed 1636 all-purpose yards. This offseason he broke through to the FBS level when he signed with UConn. Jason Candle left Toledo to become the new head coach for 2026, and over the last two seasons his WR1 has scored 208.3 & 205.4 fantasy points. Candle prefers a slot or balanced WR is his top role and Wilson fits that preferrence perfectly.

GaSo WR Dallas

Georgia Southern: Josh Dallas

11.3 Fantasy Points In 2025

Georgia Southern lost it’s top three WR’s from the 2025 season and is now searching for new stars to step up. Dallas has spent the last four seasons at Georgia Southern, with 2024 being his best season where he scored 126 fantasy points. Injury cut his 2025 season short after appearing in just two games. Head coach Clay Helton has a tendancy to shift what type of WR role his WR1 is based on the most talented WR on the team. Dallas plays the slot and from 2024-2022 the slot was the WR1 in Helton’s offense. Going back to 2019 Helton’s WR1 has scored 170+ fantasy points four times.

NIU WR Thompson

Northern Illinois: Cam Thompson

0.0 Fantasy Points In 2025

Thompson spent his first two seasons at NIU and had his best season in 2024 where he scored 71 fantasy points. He transferred to Mississippi State in 2025 but only appeared in three games with 1 target and no receptions. He heads back to NIU for 2026 and is seen at the best vertical threat in this receiver core. He does have competition for the top WR spot with DeAree Rogers who plays in the slot. Tony Petersen comes from Illinois State to take over as offensive coordinator and in the three seasons we’ve tracked in his coaching history he has favored an outside WR twice which is good news for Thompson.

TxSt WR Graves

Texas State: LaKeyleon Graves

0.0 Fantasy Points In 2025

Texas State is loaded at the top of their WR room with their top two returning receivers back for 2026. Graves looks to break into the WR3 position as a true freshman this season. He is a four star prospect that’s been described as the future of this program. As long as he can learn the playbook his talent should get him on the field to ensure that he doesn’t bolt in the transfer portal. He has the potential to move his way up to the WR2 role by the end of the season. Over the past three seasons the WR2 for head coach G.J. Kinne has always score 150+ fantasy points.

W Ky WR Taylor

Western Kentucky: Zion Taylor

24.4 Fantasy Points In 2025

Taylor spent the first three seasons of his career at Georgia Tech, and the run-first offense limited what he could show on the field. He played in 13 games last year with just 15 targets for 11 receptions, 129 yards and 1 TD. The decision to transfer down to Western Kentucky already looks to be a wise decision. He dominated in spring camp, being described as a beast and the clear cut WR1. Tow of the top three WRs left, with KD Hutchinson being the top returning receiver. Hutchinson will eat into Taylor’s workload but should remain the team’s WR2.
